I grew up in South Africa and studied there.  I am a Babtac & Cidesco qualified therapist in Aesthetic Treatments, Body Treatments, Aromatherapy and Reflexology, since 2002.   I also have a Level 4 qualification in Advanced Cosmetic Procedures (2022). I refer to myself as a Skin Therapist; someone who understands skin, products, ingredients and treatments. I work from a Treatment Room in our family home and have a small dog (Coco) who may greet you at the door. 

I love talking and learning more about skin and am continually training to extend my knowledge and skills. My personal experience with acne, products, doctors and dermatologists has helped me better understand the emotional impact our skin has on our mental health and wellbeing. 

I love working with teens! I aim to educate on skin, ingredients, products, diet and lifestyle. Social media has complicated the skin care world further with false hopes and miracle products. I hope to simplify things for them and establish good routines where consistency pays off.  I have chosen to work with the Clear Start line from Dermalogica, which is gentle yet effective in treating teen skin, and is results driven. 

I treat ageing, pigmentation, rosacea, sensitivity and acne in skins of any age. I love extractions, removing lesions, advanced services and in general just love treating skin. 

The subject of skin care is huge and the product options endless. I hope to help you navigate the information and options available with a no-nonsense 

 approach to skincare, through honest advice (backed by science), treatments and great products.  There are no miracle creams, but there are definitely great options to support our skins health and improve the way it looks and feels.   I will help you make informed decision about what you choose to put on your skin, to ensure you have your best skin!

On a personal note I am married with 2 children. I love working from home.  I spend my free time swimming, walking our dog Coco, catching up with friends, attending Church, cooking/baking, gardening & exploring nutrition/functional medicine. I am currently learning how to ferment foods;  advice is welcome!
