About

I grew up and trained in South Africa, where I developed a strong foundation in holistic and results-driven skin therapy. I have been a BABTAC & CIDESCO qualified therapist since 2002, specialising in Aesthetic Treatments, Body Treatments, Aromatherapy and Reflexology, and I also hold a Level 4 qualification in Advanced Cosmetic Procedures (2022).

I refer to myself as a Skin Therapist—someone who truly understands skin, products, ingredients and treatments, and how they all work together. I work from a dedicated treatment room in our family home, and you may be greeted at the door by our small (and friendly!) dog, Coco.

I have a genuine passion for skin and am continually learning, training and expanding my knowledge. My own personal experience with acne—and navigating products, doctors and dermatologists—has given me a deep understanding of how closely our skin is linked to our confidence, mental health and overall wellbeing.

I particularly love working with teenage skin. My aim is to educate teens (and their parents) about skin health, ingredients, products, diet and lifestyle. With social media adding confusion and unrealistic expectations, I strive to simplify skincare, cut through the noise, and help establish consistent routines where real results come from time and care—not miracle products. I work with the Clear Start range from Dermalogica, which is gentle, effective and results-driven for teen skin.

I treat ageing, pigmentation, rosacea, sensitivity and acne in skins of all ages. I enjoy advanced treatments, extractions, lesion removal, and quite simply—treating skin.

Skincare can feel overwhelming, with endless information and product choices. My goal is to help you navigate it all with a no-nonsense approach, offering honest, science-backed advice, effective ethical treatments guided by what your skin genuinely needs. There are no miracle creams—but there are excellent options that support skin health and improve how your skin looks and feels. I’ll help you make informed decisions about what you put on your skin, so you can achieve your best skin possible.

On a personal note, I’m married with two children and love working from home. In my free time, you’ll find me swimming, walking Coco, catching up with friends, attending church, cooking and baking or gardening. I’m currently learning how to ferment foods—advice is always welcome!
